🟢Homeless woman slapped and racially abused Sunderland takeaway owner despite his kindness

Caitlin Simpson, 26, from Gateshead, appeared in Newcastle Magistrates’ Court after assaulting the owner of the Golden Chef takeaway on Borough Road, Sunderland who had often given her free food.

After receiving a meal, Simpson tried to steal soft drinks, lashed out when confronted, and shouted racist abuse, calling the owner a “f****** p****” before slapping him.

When police arrived, she continued her violent behavior, digging her nails into an officer’s thigh during her arrest. Just three months later, she stole £120 worth of lamb from Farm Foods and struck the store manager when challenged.

Simpson, who was only released from prison in January, pleaded guilty to racially aggravated assault, assaulting an emergency worker, theft, and breaching a dispersal order. The judge warned she may face prison again unless her “appalling” behavior stops.
