Ambulance service issues statement on Testos Roundabout Crash

The North East Ambulance service has issued a statement following a crash early this morning on the Testos Roundabout on the A19 between Sunderland and South Tyneside.

The crash caused severe disruption to the road, but thankfully nobody was seriously injured.

A NEAS spokesperson said: “We received a call at 7.39am this morning (Monday 21 October) to reports of a road traffic incident on Newcastle Road in West Boldon. We dispatched an ambulance crew to the scene and transported one patient to South Tyneside District Hospital for further treatment.”
