An appeal is being made to locate the whereabouts of a Sunderland man who went missing yesterday.
Michael Slater, who is from around the Springwell area of the city centre, went missing yesterday.
However, the riot created a huge distraction of everyone’s attention and the news cycle which meant his disappearance was overlooked yesterday evening.
Now, as the water clears, a renewed attempt is being made to locate him as he has not yet been found.
He may also be in Bishop Auckland of County Durham.
