A local animal rescue charity is seeking a new home for a young dog after he was abandoned by his owner on the side of a busy road in Murton.
The dog, estimated to be around a year old, was found abandoned yesterday. Its owner had reportedly abandoned him for the trivial reason of “jumping up” and does not want him back.
The Sunderland charity Pet Angels rescued him and are now urgently seeking to find him a new home. Those suitable to take in him in may contact them at 07740 297552
