An appeal is being made to reunite a bag of shopping with an elderly lady who suffered a fall in Monkwearmouth.
The incident happened yesterday evening at Crozier Street. The lady was not in a serious enough condition to be taken to hospital, so her son took her home.
However, she left a bag of shopping behind at the scene which was recovered by Carol Holyoak, but she’d already left.
Now, she is seeking to return it to the lady and sincerely sends her well wishes that she is alright.
