A woman was knocked unconscious and left with multiple injuries after being hit by an e-bike in Durham city centre.
The incident happened just before 11pm on Saturday (April 25) on North Road, outside the bus station. The rider reportedly fled the scene at speed, leaving the victim in the road.
She suffered injuries to her head, shoulder, arms and legs and was taken to hospital, where she was later discharged in the early hours of Sunday morning.
Police are now reviewing CCTV and appealing for witnesses, with officers saying a number of people were in the area at the time.
Anyone with information or dashcam footage is urged to come forward.
