Do not eat warning: The following M&S and Co-op products have been recalled

Shoppers at two major food stores have been urged to check their fridges for two products that have been recalled due to undeclared ingredients.

Marks & Spencer has issued a recall for a mushroom pie from its Plant Kitchen range, as it poses a possible health risk for customers with a soya allergy.

Meanwhile, the Co-op has withdrawn a picnic platter from sale due to the presence of sulphites not mentioned on the label.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has advised anyone with a relevant allergy or intolerance not to eat these affected products, and they can return them to store where a full refund will be issued.

These include:

M&S Plant Kitchen Mushroom Pie (200g): Best before dates April 12, April 16, April 18, and April 22, 2024

Co-op 20 Piece Picnic Platter (228g): Best before date April 21, 2024
