Dog garden break in mauls Ferrets in Farringdon

A dog managed to break into a woman’s garden, smashed through cages and severely injured her pet ferrets.

According to the owner, a Patterdale Terrier let loose without a leash, had managed to gain access to her property and severely injured a number of the pet ferrets, leading them to require emergency vet treatment.

As shown in the photo, the cages were damaged beyond repair, leaving the owner with a hefty bill to replace them and pay the vet costs.

The owner condemned what she described as “irresponsible dog owners” but did not publicly name a suspect.
