Hosted by: SGM & SunderVerse Media
Date: Sunday, 4th August
A charity walk is taking place from Sunderland to Witton-le-Wear, County Durham (25 miles) in support of a local charity.
Following large interest in “The Great North Walk” (Aug 13-16) the Prince Bishop’s Walk has been organised as a smaller, day long event to incorporate more people into it.
Meeting at Tesco Express East Herrington, early on Sunday morning, the group will walk southwest together and head 25 miles to reach Witton Castle, before getting a minibus home to the starting point.
The charity it is backing will soon be announced.
