International Student at Sunderland University has her bag stolen containing passport, can you help?

A new international student at Sunderland University is devastated after her bagpack, containing her passport and other documentation, was reportedly stolen at Mowbray Park last week, in which she claims will jeopardize her enrollment at the institution.

Gladys Udofia, from Nigeria, has publicly appealed for help after experiencing the theft, although it is unclear what circumstances it occurred under, stating that: “Those documents are very important and I can’t complete my enrollment in school without those credentials” and has asked local residents to help her.

The bag is described as a “black back pack” and was taken on Wednesday afternoon. Gladys made a police report after the incident, but has yet to receive any feedback. Meanwhile, residents have advised her to immediately get in touch with the government to prove her status in the UK until the bag is returned.
