• 38.5 hours per week
• 4 days on, 4 days off
• 12-week fixed-term contract
ABOUT THE ROLE
• Provide janitorial and waste removal services within a warehouse environment
• Clean internal and external welfare, social and production areas
• Handle waste through approved waste streams and prepare it for transportation
• Work in a physically demanding and fast-paced environment
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Clean washrooms, break rooms and canteen areas
• Clean reception areas, offices and locker rooms
• Clean production areas including the main production floor
• Handle and sort site waste through approved waste streams
• Use walk-behind and ride-on sweepers and scrubber-dryers
• Keep cleaning equipment clean, maintained and safe to use
• Respond to spillages and client callouts
• Communicate effectively with colleagues, the team and line manager
• Wear PPE and comply with health and safety legislation and company policies
• Work independently and as part of a team
REQUIREMENTS
• Basic disclosure check with satisfactory outcome
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements, or willingness to learn
• Knowledge of cleaning methods, or willingness to learn
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to adapt quickly to a busy operational environment
• Reliable and flexible approach to work
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Physically fit for an active role
• Willingness to complete the company’s screening process
• Basic DBS check required
• Random drug and alcohol testing required
