ABOUT THE ROLE
• Provide food service support across multiple locations
• Help maintain consistent standards of service, food safety and customer satisfaction
• Cover shifts across different North East locations as required
• Support both kitchen and front-of-house teams
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare and serve food and beverages according to recipes, portion sizes and presentation standards
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitisation of food preparation areas, equipment and serving stations
• Assist with stock management, including receiving, storing and rotating food
• Set up and break down dining areas and service stations
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Operate till systems and process payments accurately
• Work with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service
• Monitor and report food stock levels
• Report equipment maintenance requirements
• Follow health and safety procedures and company policies
• Support area-wide initiatives and cover shifts across multiple locations
REQUIREMENTS
• Experience in food service, catering or hospitality
• Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
• Strong communication and people skills
• Excellent timekeeping and reliability
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Ability to manage multiple tasks
• Strong attention to detail
• Commitment to high cleanliness standards
• Valid driving licence
• Own transport
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
• Basic numeracy skills for till operation and stock management
• Teamwork and collaborative approach
