About The Role:
Brack Burger Ltd is looking for an experienced Head Chef to lead the kitchen at its Gosforth location. The successful candidate will oversee day-to-day kitchen operations, support and motivate the team, and ensure services run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency.
- Organise food preparation and kitchen service.
- Manage stock, ordering and food waste.
- Keep the kitchen clean, safe and compliant with food hygiene requirements.
- Train and develop kitchen team members.
- Follow and improve kitchen procedures.
- Work closely with the management team to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Candidate Requirements:
- Experience leading a busy kitchen.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- A hands-on approach to kitchen management.
- Confidence in motivating a team and maintaining standards during busy services.
- Ability to create a positive kitchen working environment.
- Previous chef experience of at least one year is preferred.
Work Location: In Person, Gosforth, Newcastle.
