£14.50 per hour + paid travel time

HOURS
• Part-time, flexible and occasional weekday daytime work.
• Events are typically held Tuesday to Thursday.
• Typical event day: approximately 8:45am–5:00pm.
• Travel time is paid door-to-door.
• Local journeys are generally under 90 minutes each way.
• No overnight stays.

ABOUT THE ROLE
• Welcome guests and manage registrations.
• Hand out name badges and information packs.
• Provide information to guests in a polite and professional manner.
• Look after refreshments and keep the event room calm and tidy.
• Hand out literature.
• Assist guests who wish to book follow-up appointments.
• Work alongside consultants, technicians and office staff to ensure events run smoothly.

REQUIREMENTS
• Warm, polite and well-spoken manner.
• Confidence dealing with members of the public.
• Organised and reliable.
• Presentable and punctual.
• Discreet when handling attendee details.
• Full driving licence and reliable own vehicle.
• Live within approximately 30 minutes of Newcastle upon Tyne.
• Flexible availability for occasional weekday daytime events.
• Willingness to undergo a Basic DBS check, paid for by the employer.
