Hours: 40 Hours Per Week, Monday–Friday
About The Role
Cox Automotive is recruiting an Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day running of its vehicle auction yard in Washington.
The successful candidate will help prepare vehicles for auction, move vehicles safely around the site, maintain accurate documentation and support the smooth running of auction operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise and present vehicles for auction in line with company and vendor standards.
- Drive and manoeuvre vehicles safely around the site.
- Assist with vehicle collections and deliveries when required.
- Ensure vehicles are correctly prepared and pre-sale documentation is complete.
- Support the valet team by locating and moving vehicles.
- Assist with vehicle imaging and pre-inspection activities.
- Manage vehicle keys and entry and exit control points in line with company procedures.
- Follow health, safety and environmental requirements.
- Report safety concerns and help maintain an orderly vehicle yard.
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers and colleagues.
- Support other operational duties as required.
Requirements
Applicants should have:
- An understanding of health, safety and environmental requirements.
- The ability to operate relevant technology and equipment.
- Confidence driving a range of vehicles, including different transmissions and ignition systems.
- A responsible approach to vehicle security and site procedures.
- The ability to work efficiently and contribute to a team.
