About the Role
Cygnet is looking for a dedicated Housekeeper to join the team at Hope House in Hartlepool. This part-time role offers 24 hours per week and is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment. Hope House provides outcome-focused care for adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs.
The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the service remains clean, hygienic and comfortable for residents, while following all health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the service.
- Carry out daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
- Replenish cleaning supplies and maintain equipment.
- Follow safe working practices and health and safety procedures.
- Comply with COSHH regulations.
- Help create a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents and staff.
Key Requirements
- Previous cleaning, housekeeping or domestic experience is desirable.
- Knowledge of COSHH regulations is beneficial.
- Friendly, reliable and conscientious attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
