Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the school premises
- Deliver caretaking services to a consistently high standard
- Build and maintain a close working relationship with the school and community groups
- Proactively monitor the site
- Maintain a safe and secure environment
Working Pattern
- Permanent
- Full-time
- Split shift: 06:30–10:00 / 14:30–18:30
Requirements
- Experience in caretaking, facilities or site services
- Basic maintenance or DIY skills
- Practical, reliable and proactive approach
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment
- Awareness of health and safety practices
- Ability to pass a DBS clearance
About The Role
Equans is recruiting a Caretaker to support the day-to-day management of school premises, ensuring high-quality caretaking services through proactive site monitoring and close collaboration with the school and community groups. The successful candidate will help maintain a safe, secure and well-managed environment while delivering excellent site services.
