About The Role:
Farmhouse Inns is looking for a Kitchen Assistant to help keep its busy kitchen running smoothly. The role involves ensuring supplies are well stocked, maintaining cleanliness and supporting the kitchen team in preparing food for customers.
Farmhouse Inns is known for its carvery meals, freshly prepared vegetables, handmade Yorkshire puddings, roast potatoes and cakes prepared and decorated in its kitchens.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help ensure the kitchen is well stocked and organised.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Follow food safety and health and safety regulations.
- Support kitchen colleagues by ensuring they have the equipment and supplies needed.
- Communicate clearly with the team to help service run smoothly.
Requirements:
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- Willingness to learn and develop kitchen skills.
- Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.
- A team-focused approach.
- Sufficient spoken and written English to work safely and understand allergen controls.
