Overview:
GO Outdoors is recruiting a Store Colleague to support sales and deliver an exceptional customer experience at its Wakefield store. This is a customer-focused retail role with strong opportunities for progression within the wider JD Group.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service and greet customers warmly
- Drive and exceed sales targets, including add-on sales
- Maintain high visual merchandising and shop floor standards
- Process sales transactions accurately (cash and card payments)
- Replenish and organise stock on the shop floor
- Upsell and cross-sell products
- Support wider store operations as required
Role Objectives & KPIs:
- Contribute to achieving or exceeding monthly sales targets
- Drive key performance indicators including Units, Conversion, ATV and UPT
- Achieve upselling and cross-selling targets
- Maintain high customer satisfaction levels
Requirements:
- Positive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Confidence engaging with customers
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
