WORKING ARRANGEMENT
• Hybrid role combining showroom sales with local furniture deliveries
ABOUT THE ROLE
• Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service in the showroom
• Sell furniture using strong product knowledge and suitable recommendations
• Build customer loyalty and deliver a positive shopping experience
• Maintain strong knowledge across all product ranges
• Keep the showroom tidy, welcoming and well presented
• Process sales and handle customer enquiries
• Deliver furniture carefully to customers’ homes
• Build furniture in customers’ homes
• Manage access challenges with care and problem-solving
• Ensure customer satisfaction before completing deliveries
• Support stockroom standards and keep the delivery van clean and tidy
OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Coordinate delivery schedules with the team
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding delivery times
• Report vehicle or product issues
• Support showroom colleagues when not making deliveries
• Receipt deliveries into the store
REQUIREMENTS
• Customer service skills
• Full UK driving licence with a maximum of 3 points
• Physical ability to lift and manoeuvre furniture safely
• Good communication and time-management skills
• Reliable and organised
• Comfortable working independently
• Retail, delivery or customer-facing experience beneficial but not essential
