Role Overview
Iceland is recruiting a Home Delivery Driver in Sunderland (Pallion). This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the road, working independently, and providing friendly, reliable service as the face of Iceland to customers in their homes.
You’ll be responsible for safely delivering shopping while ensuring excellent customer service and food quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver customer shopping safely and on time
- Follow correct van loading and manual handling procedures
- Carry out vehicle checks before shifts
- Drive safely and responsibly at all times
- Ensure groceries arrive in excellent condition
- Provide a friendly, professional customer experience
- Support in-store tasks when required
- Manage time effectively while working independently
What They’re Looking For
- Full UK driving licence (held for at least 3 years)
- No more than 6 points on licence
- Strong awareness of road safety
- Friendly, positive, and customer-focused attitude
- Punctual, reliable, and able to meet deadlines
- Flexible to work a range of shifts
