HOURS
• 20 hours per week
• Flexible availability required across 7-day trading hours
• Evening and weekend availability required
ABOUT THE ROLE
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service
• Help customers find suitable products for their pets
• Recommend relevant products that support pet wellbeing
• Provide advice on responsible pet ownership
• Keep the store tidy, well stocked and presentable
• Work as part of a supportive and energetic team
• Help meet individual goals and team targets
• Work on your feet and carry out physical tasks such as putting stock out
SALES APPROACH
• Recommend suitable treats, toys, food and accessories based on customers’ needs
• Focus on improving the customer’s experience rather than applying pressure
• Full training provided on products and pet care
• Combination of manager-led on-the-job training and online learning
REQUIREMENTS
• Friendly and positive personality
• Comfortable interacting with pets and people
• Able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on retail environment
• Customer-facing experience desirable
• Hands-on approach
• Strong customer service skills
• Able to represent the Jollyes brand and its values
• Flexible availability for evenings and weekends
• Able to commit to a permanent part-time position of 20 hours per week
