Requirements
- Compassionate and can-do attitude
- Experience supporting older people
- Good initiative and ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to commute or relocate to Houghton le Spring before starting work (required)
- Kitchen Assistant experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Cooking experience: 1 year (preferred)
- Kitchen experience: 1 year (preferred)
About The Role
Lambton House Ltd is recruiting a Kitchen Assistant to join its 57-bedroom family-run care home in Houghton le Spring. The successful candidate will help provide food and hospitality for residents, serve meals, support colleagues and contribute to creating a positive dining experience for people with residential and dementia care needs.
