Role Overview
Lidl is recruiting a Customer Assistant to join the team at its Roker Avenue store in Sunderland. This is a fast-paced, hands-on retail role where no two shifts are the same. You’ll play a key role in keeping the store running smoothly while delivering great service to customers.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, teamwork, and staying active at work.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, helpful customer service and answer queries
- Work deliveries efficiently as they arrive in store
- Keep shelves stocked, clean, tidy, and well organised
- Bake and replenish fresh bakery items
- Maintain Lidl’s middle aisle (Non-Food) displays
- Support store operations by pitching in where needed
