Role Overview
Lidl is recruiting a Customer Assistant for its Durham Road store in Sunderland. This is a varied, fast-paced retail role where teamwork, energy, and great customer service are key. No two shifts are the same, with duties ranging from tills and deliveries to bakery and shop-floor support.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service
- Work deliveries efficiently as they arrive in store
- Keep shelves clean, tidy, and fully stocked
- Bake and replenish fresh bakery items
- Maintain the middle aisle (Non-Food) displays
- Support colleagues to keep the store running smoothly
