Hours: 48-Hour Contract, With A 40-Hour Contract Option Available
About The Role
Muro Lounge is looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to support the General Manager, lead the team and ensure customers receive an excellent hospitality experience.
This is an opportunity for someone with restaurant, bar, café or coffee shop management experience to join a growing hospitality group, with training and opportunities for career progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead shifts, including opening, closing and weekend duties.
- Brief, motivate and support team members throughout service.
- Coach staff through regular feedback and help create a positive working environment.
- Support rota planning, stock management, labour costs and performance targets.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and confidently.
- Maintain food safety and allergen standards.
- Support recruitment and help new employees settle into their roles.
- Manage cash handling and oversee daily operations.
- Provide a welcoming customer experience and build relationships within the local community.
Requirements
- Experience as a Supervisor, Deputy Manager or Assistant Manager in a restaurant, bar, café or coffee shop.
- Confidence leading shifts from start to finish.
- Strong communication, leadership and customer service skills.
- The ability to lead by example and support the wider team.
- A practical understanding of cash management, customer complaints and hospitality operations.

Working Pattern
