- Carry out cleaning duties to a consistently high standard

Requirements
- Experience in cleaning, housekeeping or domestic services is welcome
- Hospitality or facilities services experience is also relevant
- Experience in care or healthcare environments is advantageous
- Customer-facing experience where maintaining high standards is important
- Reliable and dependable approach

About The Role
NHS Property Services is recruiting a permanent, part-time Domestic Assistant/Cleaner at Low Fell Clinic on Beacon Lough Road, Gateshead.
The role offers 12 hours per week at £12.92 per hour, equivalent to £25,272 per annum pro rata. Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 06:00 to 08:30 and Friday from 06:00 to 08:00.
The successful applicant will help maintain a clean, safe and welcoming healthcare environment for patients, visitors and colleagues. Duties include routine cleaning, supporting infection prevention and control measures, and following NHS Property Services policies, procedures and cleaning schedules.
The position is based at a lone-working site, so applicants should be comfortable working independently while maintaining the required standards of safety and cleanliness.
Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, domestic services, hospitality, facilities, care, healthcare or customer-facing roles is welcomed. NHS Property Services states that applicants who do not meet every requirement but believe they could be a good fit are still encouraged to apply.
