Key Responsibilities

• Carry out cleaning duties across multiple NHS Property Services sites to a high standard
• Travel between allocated locations
• Provide cleaning cover across sites when required
• Follow health and safety and COSHH guidelines
• Work collaboratively with team members, site colleagues and Soft FM management
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention
• Complete routine cleaning tasks in line with workplace procedures
• Ensure cleaning schedules are completed accurately and consistently
• Deliver cleaning services in accordance with the Domestic Services Operative Manual, policies, procedures and cleaning schedules

Requirements

• Reliability and the ability to work independently across multiple sites
• Ability to travel between allocated locations as this is a mobile role
• Ability to follow health and safety and COSHH procedures
• Ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and infection prevention
• A Standard DBS check will be required

About The Role

NHS Property Services is recruiting a Mobile Domestic Assistant based at Shibdon Road, Blaydon NE21 5NW, working 25 hours per week from Monday to Friday, 06:00–11:00.

The role pays £12.92 per hour, equivalent to £25,272 per annum on a pro-rata basis.

The successful candidate will provide cleaning services across a range of NHS Property Services premises, helping to maintain clean, safe and welcoming healthcare environments. As a mobile position, the successful applicant will travel between allocated sites and provide cleaning cover where required.

The role covers Molineux Street, Elswick HC, Arthurs Hill HC and Walkergate. Duties include following cleaning schedules, maintaining infection prevention standards, complying with health and safety and COSHH requirements, and working with colleagues and Soft FM management.
