About The Role
Northern Smiles Crook is seeking a friendly, organised and enthusiastic Dental Receptionist to join its busy dental practice following an expansion.
As the first point of contact for patients, you will help create a welcoming environment while managing appointments, patient enquiries and administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients professionally when they arrive for appointments.
- Schedule, confirm and rearrange appointments using practice management software.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out.
- Answer telephone calls and respond to patient enquiries.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update personal information.
- Process payments and support the coordination of appointments with dental staff.
- Carry out general administrative duties, including filing and emailing.
- Assist with inventory management when required.
Requirements And Experience
- Previous office experience in a healthcare or dental setting is preferred but not essential.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy environment.
- Familiarity with office equipment and practice management software would be an advantage.
