Overview
Part-time Cleaner role with Northumbria Police, based at Southwick Custody Suite. A behind-the-scenes position supporting the smooth running of an operational police station.
Hours
- 5 hours per week
- Saturday & Sunday: 2:00pm – 4:30pm
- Permanent contract

Role Responsibilities
- Clean washrooms, kitchens, and operational areas
- Vacuum and mop floors
- Use cleaning equipment (including floor machines)
- Empty bins and carry out general cleaning tasks
- Follow health and safety and hygiene standards
Ideal Candidate
- Reliable and punctual
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Good level of fitness (physical role)
- Willingness to learn (no experience required)
- Attention to detail and pride in work
Additional Notes
- Must pass police vetting (minimum 3 years UK residency required)
- Interview process includes face-to-face stage
