Working Hours: Sunday, 8am–4pm; Monday to Thursday, 6am–3pm
About The Role
Olivia’s Kitchen Ltd is looking for a Food Production Assistant to join its team at its Team Valley location in Gateshead.
The company supplies hot and cold food to corporate and private clients across the North East. The successful candidate will help with food preparation and production while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness and food safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation and production in line with company standards.
- Prepare hot and cold buffet food.
- Make pre-packed café items, including fresh sandwiches, wraps and salads.
- Follow HACCP procedures and food safety regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Keep food production areas clean and organised.
- Help the team meet daily food production targets.
- Follow health and safety guidelines.
- Work collaboratively to deliver high-quality food and service.
Skills And Requirements
Applicants should have:
- Knowledge of HACCP and food safety procedures.
- Experience or familiarity with food production processes.
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Good communication skills.
- Previous catering or food service experience is advantageous.
