About The Role
Powder Monkey in Wallsend is recruiting a full-time Chef to join its kitchen team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to a high standard, with the quality of the food playing an important role in the overall guest experience.
The role involves preparing everything required before service, mastering the menu and producing food that the team can be proud of. Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety is also an important part of the position.
Powder Monkey is part of Sizzling Pub & Grill, one of the UK’s pub brands within Mitchells & Butlers. The business serves customers across a range of occasions, from breakfast through to sporting events and other dining experiences.
The position offers flexible shifts and opportunities to develop through paid qualifications. The employer states that around 200 Chefs are promoted to Head Chef each year, providing a potential route for career progression.
