Pay: £12.60 per hour

Hours: Part-time, 12 hours per week

Shift Pattern
• Thursday: 05:00 – 09:00
• Friday: 05:00 – 09:00
• Saturday: 05:00 – 09:00

Overview
• Trading Assistant role within a fast-paced local Sainsbury’s store
• Early morning shifts focused on store readiness and customer convenience
• Part of a small team supporting a high-energy retail environment
• Fixed-term role during a busy trading period

Main Responsibilities
• Work as part of a team to ensure the store is fully prepared for customers
• Move stock from the warehouse using roll cages (up to 15kg)
• Replenish shelves and maintain availability across the store
• Serve customers on checkouts and assist with deliveries
• Pick high-quality items for on-demand grocery orders
• Support customers with Click & Collect parcels
• Proactively assist customers and answer queries
• Build strong product and promotion knowledge to make recommendations
• Carry out date checking on fresh and grocery products
• Keep the store clean, tidy and well presented at all times

Eligibility Requirements
• Minimum age 18 due to working hours and product handling
• Must have the right to work in the UK
