Hours: 42 Hours Per Week, With Additional Hours Available
Shift Pattern: Four Days On, Four Days Off, With Two Day Shifts And Two Night Shifts.
About The Role
Securitas UK is recruiting a Core Security Officer to help maintain the safety and security of premises in Washington. The successful applicant will provide a visible security presence and help protect staff, visitors and property.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out regular foot and vehicle patrols.
- Monitor and control access to the site.
- Operate CCTV systems and respond to suspicious activity.
- Respond to security incidents, medical emergencies and fire alarms.
- Manage alarm systems in line with site procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents and security activities.
- Follow health and safety procedures.
- Provide professional customer service while maintaining site security.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- A valid SIA licence.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
- The ability to remain calm under pressure and respond decisively.
- British nationality by birth or a British passport held for at least five years.
- A five-year checkable work history.
- Willingness and ability to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
