Key Responsibilities
- Attend pre-qualified solar appointments

- Present cash and finance options to customers
- Close solar sales with homeowners
- Manage the sales pipeline efficiently
- Generate and close your own deals where applicable
Requirements
- Proven experience in solar sales
- Strong sales closing ability
- Experience using OpenSolar or similar solar design software
- Comfortable working on a commission-only structure
- Full UK driving licence
- Experience working with warm, pre-qualified appointments
About The Role
SFM Ltd is expanding its solar campaign and is recruiting experienced Solar Energy Specialists (Closers) in Sunderland.
The role involves attending pre-booked, qualified appointments generated by the company’s internal team. The successful candidate will meet homeowners, design suitable solar systems using OpenSolar, present cash and finance options and work towards closing the sale.
The position is aimed at experienced solar sales professionals who are confident working with warm leads and have a strong ability to close deals consistently.
The advertised earning structure is £1,500 for each installed deal, with uncapped earning potential. There is also an optional opportunity for candidates who can generate and close their own deals, with earnings of £2,500 per installation for the combined lead and close.
The role is permanent and involves working in person. Candidates must have proven solar sales experience, strong closing skills, the ability to use OpenSolar or similar software and a full UK driving licence.
