Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional attitude
• Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
• Use basic maths skills for billing and payments
• Serve food and beverages to restaurant standards with attention to presentation
• Assist with food preparation when required, following food safety guidelines
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area
• Reset tables efficiently for new guests
• Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Address guest queries and concerns professionally
• Manage time effectively while handling multiple tables
Experience and Skills
• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred
• Training will be provided
• Knowledge of food preparation and food safety standards is beneficial
• Strong time management skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks during busy periods
• Passion for customer service and hospitality
• Interest in food and culinary service
