• Varied shifts including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing), and weekends
• Shift pattern to be discussed at interview

• Role Overview:
• Leading a small team within a fast-paced Co-op food store
• Supporting the day-to-day running of the store during shifts
• Helping deliver essential services to the local community
• Playing a key role in customer service, store performance, and team development
• Key Responsibilities:
• Leading the store team on shift and owning daily operations
• Motivating, coaching, and supporting colleagues to deliver great service
• Working hands-on on the shop floor and tills
• Supporting merchandising, stock accuracy, and store standards
• Supporting HR processes and store performance targets
• Championing Co-op membership and community engagement
• Skills & Experience:
• Passion for people, teamwork, and leadership
• Flexible approach to working patterns
• Retail, merchandising, or team leadership skills beneficial but not essential
• Ability to lead by example in a customer-focused environment
