About The Role
The Curtain Store At Home is looking for enthusiastic and customer-focused Sales Assistants to join its Curtain Department in Blaydon.
The company specialises in curtain fabrics, made-to-measure curtains and blinds, as well as ready-made curtains, poles, tracks and haberdashery.
The successful candidate will help customers choose fabrics and home décor products while maintaining an organised and attractive department. Full training and support will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with choosing curtain fabrics, blinds, poles, tracks and other home décor products.
- Provide helpful customer service and support a positive shopping experience.
- Keep the fabric department organised and visually appealing.
- Help customers find suitable products for their homes.
- Work independently and alongside the wider team.
Skills And Experience
- An interest in interior design and home décor is desirable.
- Previous retail or sales experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
