The Salvation Army Store in Sunderland is hiring an Assistant Retail Manager to work on a Full-Time basis, this is a PAID not voluntary role

• No evening or Sunday working
Salary
• £28,027 per annum

The Role
• Support the Manager with day-to-day running of the donation centre
• Receive, sort and process donated goods
• Organise and oversee collections from private houses and other locations
• Ensure goods are sold on site, delivered to local Salvation Army shops or redistributed
• Support repair and reuse services to reduce landfill and promote sustainability
• Open and close the centre on a regular basis
• Respond to queries from customers, head office and colleagues
• Support recruitment, training and development of staff and volunteers
• Maintain high standards across customer service, operations and health & safety
