ABOUT THE ROLE
• Prepare delicious, high-quality meals for guests
• Help maintain the restaurant’s food and service standards
• Work as part of a dynamic kitchen team
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Prepare a variety of dishes to consistent quality standards
• Follow established recipes and presentation standards
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen
• Follow food safety regulations and proper food-handling procedures
• Assist with meal preparation during busy service periods
• Monitor stock levels and communicate ingredient requirements to management
• Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests
• Help maintain a safe, hygienic and efficient kitchen environment
REQUIREMENTS
• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking or a culinary role in a restaurant or similar setting
• Strong knowledge of food safety standards and food-handling techniques
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools
• Previous restaurant experience preferred but not mandatory
• Enthusiasm for learning
• Ability to stand for extended periods and undertake physically demanding tasks when required
