Key Responsibilities
- Take inbound customer calls and create work requests
- Make outbound calls to depots to schedule jobs and provide updates
- Produce accurate invoices using internal systems and customer platforms
- Resolve customer queries and complaints with ownership and urgency
- Communicate with customers through phone, email and customer portals
- Meet individual and team KPIs covering call handling, accuracy and productivity
- Work effectively in a busy, fast-paced Customer Experience Centre
Requirements
Essential:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Confidence using computer systems, including Microsoft Excel
- Experience handling high volumes of calls in a busy environment
- Strong communication skills
- Good problem-solving abilities
Desirable:
- Experience working with SLAs and KPIs
- Previous call centre or office administration experience
- Knowledge of UK geography and mapping systems
About The Role
Tructyre is recruiting a Customer Service Advisor to join its busy Customer Experience Centre in Gateshead.
The role is focused on providing customer support and coordinating tyre-related services for customers. The successful candidate will take inbound calls, create work requests and make outbound calls to depots to schedule jobs and provide updates.
The position also involves producing accurate invoices through internal systems and customer platforms, as well as resolving customer queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
Communication will take place through telephone, email and customer portals, with employees expected to meet individual and team KPIs covering areas such as call handling, accuracy and productivity.
This is a permanent, full-time night role involving 37.5 hours per week across Monday to Sunday between 20:00 and 08:00.
The advertised salary is £30,750 per year.
Tructyre is looking for candidates with strong customer service and communication skills, confidence using computer systems including Microsoft Excel, and experience handling high volumes of calls in a busy environment. Experience with SLAs, KPIs, call centres or office administration would be advantageous.
