• Employer: Vanilla Retail Group Ltd
• Location: Metro Centre, Gateshead
• Contract: Permanent, Part-time
• Hours: 16+ hours per week, fully flexible
• Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour
Role overview
• Deliver excellent customer service with a strong fashion focus
• Support sales growth through product knowledge and styling advice
• Maintain high standards across the shop floor and fitting rooms
• Represent the Vanilla brand positively at all times
Key duties
• Welcome customers and put them first to deliver outstanding service
• Serve confidently at the till and fitting rooms
• Talk knowledgeably about products to drive sales
• Offer style advice and assistance when customers show buying signals
• Maintain tidy, well-organised and easy-to-shop floor standards
• Replenish stock effectively to ensure full size availability
• Receive and process deliveries efficiently
• Support floor layout changes and promotional activities
Essential requirements
• Minimum 1 year experience in fashion retail sales
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Confidence selling fashion products and advising customers
• Ability to work flexibly, including weekends
