Salary: £14.25–£17.50 an hour
Pay Structure:
- £14.25 per hour for the first 50 hours
- £16.00 per hour after 50 hours, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out multiple-drop deliveries across the TS, DL and YO areas
- Deliver goods safely and efficiently to customers
- Complete scheduled delivery routes
- Operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle in accordance with relevant driving requirements
- Maintain compliance with Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph requirements
- Support the company’s delivery operations across the Middlesbrough and surrounding areas
Requirements
- Valid 7.5-tonne driving licence
- Valid Driver Qualification Card (DQC) / Driver CPC
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Ability to reliably commute to Middlesbrough
- Previous driving experience is preferred
- Previous experience of approximately 1–2 years is preferred according to the advertisement
About The Role
Ward Bros Malton Limited is recruiting a 7.5 Tonne Delivery Driver to work in the Middlesbrough area.
The successful candidate will undertake multiple-drop deliveries across the TS, DL and YO postcode areas as part of the company’s delivery operation.
The position is full-time, with the main working pattern being Monday to Friday. Drivers will also work Saturdays on a rota approximately once every six weeks, with Saturday hours paid at £17.50 per hour.
The advertised pay is £14.25 per hour for the first 50 hours, increasing to £16.00 per hour after 50 hours when working Monday to Friday. Saturday work is paid at £17.50 per hour, and the role also offers a £40 attendance bonus.
Drivers must hold a valid 7.5-tonne driving licence, Driver Qualification Card (DQC) / Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
