Key Responsibilities
- Visit assigned areas and introduce Your Local’s services to homeowners and businesses
- Knock on doors and generate new customer sign-ups
- Build relationships with potential customers
- Manage conversations and handle customer objections
- Follow up with prospective customers
- Work independently or alongside a sales teammate
- Check in regularly with the Regional Director
- Work towards sales targets and progression opportunities
- Represent the company professionally in the field
Requirements
- Natural communicator who enjoys interacting with people
- Sales experience is helpful but not essential
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Target-driven and ambitious
- Full UK driving licence
- UK driving licence held for at least 2 years
- Desire to build a career in field sales
About The Role
Your Local Window Cleaners is recruiting a Field Sales Representative to cover Northumberland, offering a full-time position with a £25,000 basic salary plus uncapped commission and a realistic first-year OTE of £58,000+.
The basic salary can increase with progression, while there is no ceiling on commission earnings. The role also includes access to a company car, fuel card and uniform from the first day, meaning employees do not need to use their own vehicle for business travel.
The successful candidate will work in the field, visiting assigned territories and speaking directly with homeowners and businesses about Your Local’s services. Employees can choose to work independently or share a company car and sales territory with a teammate.
Working hours are flexible and focused on results rather than fixed clock-watching. Territories rotate, providing fresh areas and new conversations rather than keeping representatives permanently within one patch.
No previous sales experience is required. New starters receive the Your Local Field Sales Induction, product training, objection-handling training and a buddy shift with an experienced representative before working independently.
There is also a defined progression route from Field Sales Executive to Expert Field Sales Executive and then Master Field Sales Executive. Each progression step comes with increased pay, additional annual leave and other benefits.
