Actor and former politician Laurence Fox is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Friday after being charged with sharing a compromising image of TV personality Narinder Kaur.
Fox, 46, is accused of posting an intimate photograph of Kaur, 52, on social media in April 2024. Kaur is a regular guest on Good Morning Britain and has appeared on GB News.
The Crown Prosecution Service has charged Fox with two offences under the Sexual Offences Act 2003. These include:
- Sharing an image of a person in an intimate state with intent to cause alarm, distress or humiliation
- Sending an image of genitals with the same intent
Police have confirmed the charges fall under Section 66A, which criminalises the non-consensual sharing of sexual images, including acts like cyber flashing. This offence was formally introduced in 2023.
Fox was previously dismissed from GB News in October 2023 following controversial on-air remarks.
He remains due in court later today.
