A warning has been issued after there were reports of a “strange man” outside Dixy Chicken on Front Street, Pallion, on Tuesday trying to talk to children.
The man, described by witnesses as possibly Romanian, 6ft tall and “chubby” reportedly wanted to talk to children to try and sell them iPhones and Airpods.
When he attracted attention for this he reportedly quickly left the scene. It is not known if police have been involved.
