Overnight incident: Man falls from bridge in Sulgrave, Washington
A man fell from a road bridge in Sulgrave, Washington, at around 3.30am this morning, SGM was informed by witnesses.
The cause of the incident is unclear, and was soon attended by emergency services, including police and ambulances.
The man was taken to hospital after being treated on the scene. His injuries are presumed to be serious, but not life threatening.
Police then interviewed several witnesses who had gathered at the scene.
One witness told SGM that he was woken up by a loud scream outside, and rushed onto his balcony to see what was going on, discovering the man lying on the road in pain.
He then sent several photos of the scene, which we will not be republishing.
