Pennywell man caught hiding cocaine in his freezer
A Pennywell man was caught hiding cocaine in his freezer by police when they attended to search his home for another matter
Joseph Dixon of Portsmouth Road had two previous criminal convictions but no drug record. However when police searched his freezer they found a bag of white powder which turned out to be cocaine.
A subsequent drug test found no traces of it in his system, and it was established it was for his personal use and not for selling.
He was fined £120 for the ideal, as well as minor court costs.
