Pervert caught upskirting teenage girl in Metro station, later found to have indecent images, gets suspended sentence

A Pervert has been given a suspended sentence and a community order after he was caught upskirting a teenage girl in a metro station.

Lukasz Gajowski preyed on a 14 year old girl on the platform by sneaking up behind her and deliberately taking a photo of up her skirt.

But he was spotted by a member of the public and reported to the police.

A CCTV appeal was then put out by Northumbria Police to identify him.

After he was identified and arrested, an inspection of his devices soon found he had indecent images of children as well.

The court heart he stretched out his hand towards beneath the skirt of a girl wearing a school uniform, but a woman ultimately spotted him.

Gajowski, 39, of Brinkburn Avenue, Bensham, Gateshead, who has no previous convictions, pleaded guilty to voyeurism and three counts of making indecent images of children.

He was found to have 21 of the most serious, category A images, 13 category B images and 17 category C images.

They were not images he had taken himself and while most of them were of young teenagers, containing children as young as four.
