Police dog single handedly foils a burglary and gets three young men arrested in Seaham
The smart work of a police dog single handedly foiled a burglary in Seaham on the early hours of Thursday morning catching three young men in the act who were soon arrested.
As reported by Durham Constabulary, “Jack Hamilton and his colleague PD Rex travelled to the Seaham area following reports of an attempt burglary” where witnesses reported three men breaking into a property.
As soon as they arrived on the scene, PD rex “picked up the scent” and quickly led his colleague to a garage where the three suspects were located, quickly blocking their exit.
Three young men, aged 20, 19 and 17 years old, were arrested on the scene.
